Former Leaf Captain Paiva Nets First Collegiate Goal

The Maple Leafs Organization would like to congratulate former Leaf Captain Ronnie Paiva on scoring
his first career NCAA goal for the Becker Hawks. Paiva scored at the 12:47 of the first period
against Stonehill College. The Becker Hawks went on to tie the Skyhawks 3-3.

Paiva, a product of the two-team development system, holds two Maple Leaf all-time records;
Points in a Season with 189, and Goals in a Career with 212. Paiva is also second in Points
in a Career (456), and Assists in a Career (244). Paiva has been a CHA All -Star in both
the Junior C and Junior B Divisions that the league holds, and has been named Playoff MVP twice,
once in 2008 and again in 2009.

Paiva was a dedicated member of the program, and his hard work and leadership helped pave the way
for team succes in his six seasons with the Maple Leafs. The Maple Leafs organization continues
to wish Paiva success in his future hockey and other career endeavors.
