LEAFS KEEP FINDING A WAY TO GET IT DONE


The Leafs have gone 12-4-1 overall since Thanksgiving but more importantly has gone
undefeated in the league other than an overtime loss to the NH Monarchs. The Leafs
remain on top of the CHA Junior B standings with 1 ½ game lead on the Metro Moose
with 11 games remaining. During this time frame the Leafs have had 15 different players
in and out of the lineup. Despite all the player personnel changes, the Leafs have played
very well with some very impressive wins in the Paul Coffey Tournament with a 4-3 win
versus AJAX down 3-1 in the 3rd period as well as a 3-2 win over Empire Leagues entry
Bay Stat Breakers.

Some of the key newcomers are Andrew Desroisers with 27 points, Jarred Mitrano
with 19 points, Peter Hasenfuss with 13 points and Eric Collado with 11 points.
PJ Burnham has solidified the defense along with new goalie Trey Flesch.


The Leafs have 11 players with at least 20 points on the season and have 3 players
over 70 points led by Eric Stelnick (117), Karl Poss (78) and Riley Hess (72).
The defense is led by Rob Berg (48), Jason Alera (39) and Kyle Gasior (22).
The Leafs goalies Matt Cray 2.97 GAA and has 21 wins on the season and newcomer Flesch
boasts a 2.57 GAA with a 91 save%.


Leafs representation in All Stars The Leafs had seven members of their team represented
at the CHA/ Great Lakes All Star weekend in Buffalo. The Leafs had goalie Matt Cray,
defensemen Rob Berg and Jason Alera, forwards Eric Stelnick, Karl Poss and Riley Hess
along with Head Coach Tony DeSilva.
