MASS MAPLE LEAFS GEARING UP FOR THE SEASON

The Mass Maple Leafs 2010-2001 season started out with extreme competition on and off the ice.
As 35 players battled both on and off the ice, the Leafs coaching staff was trying to build their rosters
for the upcoming season.

After two weeks of intense training, the two Leafs teams are literally going in different directions.
The IJ Leafs will have to be ready to go as they start their league schedule at a Labor Day Showcase
in Saugus versus some of the preseason favorites in the Trenton Habs and the South Jersey Raptors.
The CHA team takes their annual Midwest trip with stops in Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and ending in Buffalo.

The Leafs on this trip will take on members of the Great Lakes, Central States,
Minnesota Junior Hockey League, Wmpire, MET and CHA in a 12 day 12 game schedule. "This should be a true test
of this squad "said head coach Tony DeSilva who went onto to say " this will be the toughest team
I have ever had to coach." Although DeSilva is up for the challenge he thinks that he has some great talent
on his team but it could take a trip like this or maybe more to build the team chemistry.
DeSilva said " More than anything this trip could dictate our season on where this team could be in March."

The CHA team will boast a familar roster to the onlookers of CHA action as several members
has joined this Leafs squad with one goal in mind a National Championship.
Former CHA players Andrew Mathieu (NH Monarchs), Franky Reluzco and Hagen Nemezek (Frederick Freeze)
along with Boyd Zinger and Kyle Moore (VA Express) have joined the 2010-11 Leafs edition.

Both teams still have some openings to fill at forward and defense. For more information
