Leafs in Top 10
in Tier III placements for collegiate hockey this season
The Mass Maple Leafs in its
13 year plus history has accomplished many feats and obstacles
since its existence. The newest announcement and accomplishment is one
that Head Coach Tony DeSilva
is extremely proud of. The Leafs are proud to announce that there is currently
40 former Leafs
playing collegiate hockey this season. The Leafs have 1 playing in Division 1 Mike Borge, a sophomore at Brown
University.
Borge played one full season with the Leafs before heading to Hotchkiss
School for two years
then eventually landing at Brown. The Leafs have 24 players currently
playing in Division 3
that group is led by Norwich University’s junior forward Kyle Thomas
along with a pair
of former captains Ronnie Paiva and Jason Alera both at Becker College.
The Leafs have
15 playing ACHA Club hockey including last years captain Bret Zimmerman
at URI,
last years goalies Jason San Antonio Bryant University, Boyd Zinger CALU
and defenseman PJ Burnham at Niagara University.
The Leafs are extremely proud of this accomplishment as this total is
in the top 10
in placements of all Tier 3 Junior Hockey this season. |
