Last years Leafs making a name for themself across the Hockey World>
Mass Maple Leafs look back at some of the players from last years National runnerups and
Premier runnerups and where they are now.  There are former Leafs making an impact in the
Prep School rankings.  Former Premier player Chris Lacount for Bridgton Academy along with
former National runnerup players Mike Borge, Andrew Pontes and John Lessard are making
impacts in the prep ranks with Hotchkiss, Winchendon and Williston respectively.

Former Premier Maple Leafs are making some noise in the junior ranks as well with Markus
Makinen playing in the MNJHL's Wisconsin Mustangs Tier 3 Jr A team.  Andrew Parent is an all
star defense for the Bay State Breakers Empire League team.  Former National goalie Tony
Wolak has made an impact for both the Washington Nationals AJ and MET team.  Former
Premier goalie Erich Westrgren played a significant amount of time with CSHL Tier 3 Jr A
Chicago Force in the first half of the season.  Former Premier player Dan Sleboda is hitting the
ice with EJ's Boston Shamrocks

Last years Leafs have also made some noise in the collegiate ranks with former Leafs Jim
Merrow, Josh Sircar, Eric Araujo, Kris Metea and Kevin Waller  at SUNY Canton, Bridgewater
State, Umass Boston and Worcester State respectively.

There are even former Leafs making their coaching debuts this season.  The Leafs making their
coaching debuts in College are Andrew Lecolst Head Coach Salve Regina, Greg Lecolst and
Peter Fay assistant coaches at Salve Regina along with Nationals Head Coach Brian Travers
who is an assistant coach at Bridgewater State.
