THE MASS MAPLE LEAFS WELCOME THE HOLIDAYS

As the holidays roll around so don’t the Mass Maple Leafs.  The Leafs have a 30-20-2 overall
record along with a 19-1 league record.

The Leafs have two big holiday tournaments coming up, the 1st of which is the Paul Coffey
Tournament in Mississauga, Ontario followed by the Hampton Junior Whalers Showcase in
Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Leafs are looking to prove something and improve on last years second place finish at the
Paul Coffey tournament.  The Hampton Showcase consists of games versus some of the top
Premier teams the division that the Leafs were runner-ups in.  The Leafs are also looking to
improve on their 11-19-2 non league record but boast a 9-8-1 record versus Junior A teams.  The
Leafs non league schedule has consisted of Central States, MET, Empire, Golden Horseshoe,
GTHL and OMHA teams from Canada.

The Leafs have six players with over 50 points in scoring.  Ronnie Paiva leads the group with
117 points followed by Justin Howarth who has 89.  Matt Whitehouse and  Mike Rizzitano with 66
points, Ilester Little with 64 points and Peter Hasenfuss rounding out the list with 57 points.

The Leafs defense is being led by William Dukeman with 30 points followed by Eric Anderson
with 26 points and Nick Smola with 21 points.

The Leafs goalie tandem of Gerard Dunne and Paul Karus have combined for 27 of the Leafs 30
wins thus far this season.

The Leafs will have several college commitments over the next month as well as some big
announcements.
